Hello biggerpockets!

I am a married father of two little ones living in the Seattle area.  I work full time at a good job and have an interest in real estate investing.  I found this site from the podcast and am excited to get involved here.

In 2011 I purchased the house next to mine via short sale here in Lynnwood. I enjoyed being a landlord (most of the time) and wanted to buy more rentals but by 2012 I had trouble finding more good rental investments in my area. This made me broaden my scope. I have family in Memphis TN and they helped me purchase a duplex and two SFR in that city. I have gained allot of appreciation on my Seattle area purchase as the market here has rebounded well here but my Memphis properties are better income producing.

As for the future of my real estate investing, I am uncertain.  I have been enjoying reading and learning about different opportunities and now that I have found bigger pockets I am excited to see what more is out there.

Thanks for having me here!
