Hello everyone, I finally own my first multifamily unit with my wife and brother and I'm really looking forward to owning more. I've done a lot of work on my current home and am a very handy person. I actually enjoy it, now I am just wondering if my next house should be a contractor/handyman special for cheap money, or spend a lot more and get a move in ready unit.

I have a lot of connections with contractors and can do the majority of the work myself but was wondering what other people thought? When you buy "move in ready" homes do you still find yourself doing work and updating them?
