Newbie from Portland, Oregon

Hello All,

My name is Peter and I am hoping to learn and apply as much as I can from this site. I have zero experience in real estate. I am originally from Austin, Texas and am happy to relocate to Portland. I am in my mid 20's and work as a full time Engineer.

My primary goal is to generate additional monthly income. First I would like to start small, buying and holding a Duplex/Triplex. I am hoping that this site will help me with the steps I need to take to do this effectively.

Came across this site from Google.

Hello @Peter Wheeler ,

Welcome. Hope you enjoy Portland. Portland has made some long-term investors happy.

Investing in Texas might not be a bad idea either.
