Hi there,

I've been lurking around Bigger Pockets for a while, subscribed to the podcast a few weeks ago and keep seeing references to them on the Mr. Money Mustache forums so I've finally decided to dive in.

I'm a complete novice to real estate investing. My plan is to have my first home also be my first investment - a small multifamily. Ann Arbor is a pretty interesting (i.e. challenging) market so I'm hoping to connect with other folks in the area and develop mutually beneficial relationships.

This community has really impressed me in terms of people being genuine and helpful and I'm looking forward to becoming more involved.

@Marvourneen D. Wonderful! I'd highly recommend following Brett's advice, and jumping in with people here. If you can attend the local groups, it will really speed up your learning. I'll shoot you a message with some good groups I used to attend regularly there...
