New Member in San Jose, CA
Hi Everyone,
I've been passively reading as many BP articles and forum posts, as well as listening to every BP podcast I can cram in on my commutes, for the past 4-5 months now. It's time to formally say hello!
A bit of background on myself. I am currently working full time in field sales and my wife is a civil engineer (great asset for any possible subdivisions!).
I am almost done with my Real Estate License coursework (a nice enduring pain) and am hoping to have the test completed by June/July 2014.
We do not yet own any investment properties. This is the first year I have looked to take on more of an active role with investments and my target is to have one rental property or fix/flip deal in the works before the end of 2014. Preferably local (100 mile radius) to the Bay Area - so i'm open to Central Valley (Modesto/Stockton/Sacramento) deals if anyone is well acquainted in those areas.
If there are any local South Bay or Peninsula REIA's or Meetup's recommended, I would love to network and start there.
