Investor Returning to North Carolina
Hello BiggerPockets community!
I'm a returning member to Bigger pockets and returning member to Fayetteville, NC community. I'm excited to return to the world of real estate investing, with a specific focus on short-term rentals. My goal is to go under contract my third property in the next 2- 8 weeks and purchase for short term rentals within the next 2-3 months.
I'm currently looking to connect with:
- Experienced real estate agents who specialize in investment properties, particularly those suitable for short-term rentals in Fayetteville.
- Investors who have successfully navigated the short-term rental market and can share insights on property selection, management, and maximizing returns.
- Finance experts or lenders who can guide me through funding options for investment properties, including conventional mortgages, FHA loans, or creative financing strategies like DSCR loans, hard money lending, private money lending, seller financing, and cash out refinancing .
My background is in long term investing. I started by house hacking my first two properties and now they have long term tenants managed by a property manager. I understand the process of buy foreclosures in the area. In the past I have driven for dollars, and I have steadily found off market deals and potential flips. Most of the time I didn't have the capital or time to invest in these deals. I'm eager to leverage my experience in my real estate journey. I've been continually educating myself through BiggerPockets podcasts, and books. I'm ready to again take the next step and continue building my network.
If anyone has recommendations for local real estate agents, tips for identifying promising short-term rental properties, or advice on securing financing as a investor, I'd greatly appreciate your input!
