New to the community – Los Angeles (Simi Valley)/California

Hello BP nation:

My name is Siva Mullapudi, living in Los Angeles area, California for the past 7 years. I own a home in Simi Valley. I have little experience in Real Estate Investing. Last year, I kept a personal goal to start investing in real estate by end 2013. I tried to do couple of real estate deals locally but not successful because of huge upfront requirements and stringent rules. Frustrated a bit, at the end of 2013, I brought a vacant residential lot (under PUD status) in Half Moon Bay, CA near to the beach with a hope it will appreciate in next 5 years.

I found Bigger Pockets website couple of months back and started reading “Beginner’s Guide” and forums. I am impressed by the members contributions and pleased to be a part of this group. I have entrepreneurial passion in real estate and interested to expand my knowledge in Real Estate Investing.

I have Master in Business Administration from University of Southern California specializing in Business Development and currently working in Healthcare industry. I look forward to learn and possibly make some solid networking connections that be local or out of area.
