Hello Everyone,

Well my name is James and I live in Riverton, Wyoming. I have been kicking around the idea of investing in rentals for a couple years now. I have been reading other blogs and listening to the podcasts and I have found out that Central wyoming is going to be tough. It seems like the market that I am in, the 1% rule is going to be tough and the 2% rule is a fantasy. The properties in my area seem to have high sales prices and low rent. I think the only thing that Riverton has going for it is the lack of Rentals.

So my short term goals are to have 5 properties bought in the next 18 months. I want to buy and hold for long term. I have a great job so I don't need to have a huge cash flow I would just like the properties to pay for themselves and have a little extra at the end of the month.

I am also interested in buying a vacation home in the Bahamas and my be rent it out when we are not using it. So if anyone has bought a home in the Bahamas or have a Vacation Rental in the Bahamas please hit me up, I would like to learn as much as I can.
