New to REI and Ready to get to work - SWFL

VanCheska Milne
Posted
  • Hello! My name is VanCheska. I'm currently based in SWFL. I'm new to REI and looking to get started and making new connections with other active and passive Real Estate Investors. My plan in my beginning stages right now is to invest in the general Florida area, locations like Orlando, Tampa, Venice, Sarasota, Punta Gorda and Ft Myers.
  • My goals this year is to start wholesaling ( at least 4-6 contracts) and potentially 1 flip property. I'm still working full-time at my current job so I want to be realistic with what I can do with the time I have. I do hope to bring my husband in as my partner who could help me achieve more in my first year, as his job has more of a seasonal down period.
  • My husband and I have talked briefly in the past about getting into real estate investing - more on the rental side. Which, I would still love to do but not immediately out of the gate. I've been actively learning and absorbing as much as I can but now I want to get to work and start investing.
