Hello BP, I have been watching and reading BP for quite some time. My wife and I have recently moved to the Texoma Region and live in southern OK. We are in the process of buying our first house which will be our primary residence at first. We started looking for a property we weren't able to find a multi-family that was work able for our primary residence. We both have the strong desire to begin our real estate investing and will be focusing on buy/flip and hold. With both of us at/below 25 and no kids (planned) we have about 5 years to really get our real estate business started. While both my wife and I will continue to work day jobs, our below budget lifestyle allows us $2000 a month to invest. We will start with being landlords as we want both the experience and savings from a property management company but plan to grow in to the DFW area and will need a PM. Our goal is to be able to leave our day jobs and live the life of travel we have dreamed of. Of course we realize that dream will take time and knowledge to achieve so our time live is 25 years. Nothing like long term planning. We are looking to get started on our path to our independence.
