Hello from Montreal, Canada!
Hey all,
Im glad to be a new member of this great community, ive been reading the forums for a few weeks and its amazing to see the tremendous amount of quality information available here! Its a bit challenging for me to analyze all this info because I live in Montreal, Canada and our laws and system is a bit different. Im a young 24 years old investor, i work in the hotel industry and I just purchased a duplex and im currently renovating it with a friend whos very handy with renovations. I want to be wholesaling houses, so i started making contacts with real estate agents, attorneys and such to be able to locate good deals. Im picking up my new car in 2 weeks (i didnt have one!) so thatll help me a lot with visits, searching for interesting places, etc. As soon as I get my car my goal will be to wholesale 2 houses a month, and ill be picky on the deals, wich means ill be searching a lot and working on my marketing efforts a lot! It seems like a long and hard road but a very rewarding one too, and I want to do this full time eventually. I have quite a bit of equity built up in that duplex that I can use, but i'd rather learn how to make money with none of my money.
