New to investing

Mark McGuire
Posted

Hey all

my wife and I are from Australia. We are currently in a good position atm to buy an investment property outright. The money we have needs to start to actually work for us and the US housing market atm is a great start

of all the research I've done Cleveland has come up no1 on our list due to a few reasons but house quality to.price range is the leading factor atm.

being we are from overseas we seem to be hitting some dead ends with no replies to emails etc etc. I have travelled America pretty extensively so it's not like we are newbies to the states and my wife was born there. But we are choosing for her not to become a dual citizen again as it makes our tax lives a little easier easier

ANYWAY. enough drivel would love to hear some thoughts and feed back about investing in Cleveland. We will be there in early November with the sole intention of buying then

thanks

Mark

@Mark McGuire I can send you a great referral for the Cleveland market if you're not having any luck networking there. Cleveland is good for cashflow. Columbus is a little bit pricier but will give you both cashflow and appreciation.
