New Investor in North Louisiana

• My name is Kris Bryan and I am a new investor based out of Ruston, Louisiana. I am looking to build a STR portfolio that focuses on the Sportsman's Paradise of North Central Louisiana. I have my first property on Lake D'Arbonne that is currently being remodeled. I also plan to build a LTR portfolio as I am based minutes from two major universities. I am currently a teacher and coach at the local high school and may expand into flips in the summer if the right property comes along. My goals are to be able to cash flow enough net to replace my salary when I am eligible for my pension in 10 years. I got into REI because I wanted freedom of time and wanted to secure my future and my son's future. I can't wait to learn from everyone here on Bigger Pockets.
