Part time real estate agent since 2006 looking to become an investor

Hello all,

Very happy to now be a part of your community.  Much respect for what I've learned in the past month watching and listening to BP podcast and videos.  Have worked in technology since graduating in '97.  Spent my last 14 of 15 -years working in technology in San Francisco.  My last year I worked for a Realtor who did $19MM in sales before coming back home to Dallas. Can't stomach going back to work in the corporate world.  Started real estate in 2000 working for two national builders, then KW, then a boutique real estate firm to create thoughtful and innovative sales and marketing solutions for developers of mid / high-rise condos to apartment conversions, and finally with United Real Estate where I help out real estate needs of friends and family.  Plan on moving to Asheville, NC soon, whereby they will give me a real estate license in reciprocity to my license in Texas.  Don't care to do traditional real estate, but rather start investing in many forms of real estate.
