Hello all,

Very happy to now be a part of your community.  Much respect for what I've learned in the past month watching and listening to BP podcast and videos.  Have worked in technology since graduating in '97.  Spent my last 14 of 15 -years working in technology in San Francisco.  My last year I worked for a Realtor who did $19MM in sales before coming back home to Dallas. Can't stomach going back to work in the corporate world.  Started real estate in 2000 working for two national builders, then KW, then a boutique real estate firm to create thoughtful and innovative sales and marketing solutions for developers of mid / high-rise condos to apartment conversions, and finally with United Real Estate where I help out real estate needs of friends and family.  Plan on moving to Asheville, NC soon, whereby they will give me a real estate license in reciprocity to my license in Texas.  Don't care to do traditional real estate, but rather start investing in many forms of real estate.

Thanks for having me and I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible.

    Hi @Hunter Lawrence. Once you arrive here, we'd love to have you come out to one of our BP networking events in Asheville. We meet the 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month. And before then I'm happy to help you with ideas on brokerages to hang your hat at, things to do, investment strategies that people are using here, etc.

    Hi Mitch,

    Thank you for the invitation. I would definitely like to take you up on your offer. I'm eager to meet new people, as I only have met a few flying back and forth in order to make my decision to move to Asheville. I was lucky enough to sit next to Rick, owner of the Double Crown on one of my flights out and we really hit it off.  He introduced me to a few architects and builders that actually had me over to their houses for drinks and eats.  Seems like there are some real good Southern hospitality there, which I'm familiar being from Texas, but missed while working outside the South for so long.  I will need to hang my license somewhere and am very open and eager to learn as much as possible about all the different investment strategies being used. Also would love to learn more about the town itself.

    Thanks again.  You've mad a very generous offer and I'm going to have to take you up on it.

    Take care and I will keep you updated to my move date, which will most likely be the end of this month or the first of May.

    Welcome to the fun side!!! Lol. 馃槅 I'm an investor looking to expand my current rental portfolio, and I'm a realtor as well. However, I specialize in off-market real estate and work with new and seasoned investors to find them the properties they're looking for!!
