Newbie investor from Bay Area

Amit Kulkarni
Posted

Hi everyone -  my name is Amit and I work full-time as a software engineer in the Bay Area. This week I worked on my goals for 2023 and investing in real estate is at the top of my list. I'm looking to get my first real estate investment in a single-family home out of state. I'm looking at DFW, Atlanta, or Columbus/Cincinnati area (I'm open to other markets as well). I am happy to be here and excited to get started!

Hi Amit,

Welcome. I'm an investor from the Bay Area as well. I grew up in Cincinnati and considered that market before ultimately investing in Atlanta. I'm happy to chat more if you have any questions about the differences between ATL and Cincinnati. I'm less familiar with DFW.
