Newbie from Long Island/Buffalo
Hey everybody! I'm a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student originally from Long Island, but attending school up in Buffalo. As of late, i've been taking a real interest in beginning to prepare myself financially for the future and being as successful as I can. I am here to learn as much as possible about real estate and see if it is something I can really have success with. Investing has always been in the family, many of my uncles and my father are well-experienced in the stock market and have brought some of that knowledge down to me. I'm looking to stray away from the pack and do something that I find more engaging and opportunistic. I am always willing to learn from those above me, and plan to get involved in this community. Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info.
You might consider Niche or Specialized Housing like student housing. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own a property to control it.
