Newbie to BP from Las Vegas, NV
Hello everyone. My name is Angela Bausley, and I am from Las Vegas, Nevada. I am very new to real estate investing, but find it very intriguing. I am currently apart of the Strongbrook Referral Affiliate Program. I am trying to make headway into this company, so I would be able to invest in my first home someday. I believe that real estate investment secures a comfortable retirement plan in the future if done the right way. It is my absolute goal to secure a portfolio of at least 10 properties so that I may help my family out financially so that living paycheck to paycheck will be a thing of the past. So I am very interested to understand how this site works, so I can network with many different people. Other than real estate, I am currently trying to get into the airforce, with my career field ultimately being special investigations. Since I hope to join the FBI one day, as I have no law enforcement experience, I want to use the airforce as a stepping stone into that type of career. Also, it is through this career that I want to use real estate investment as a hobby, so that me and my family could both benefit financially long-term. In society, we have more and more people living off of social security when they are older, and I feel that real estate investment is the answer. I want to be able to retire at a decent age, without having to go back to work, just to bring in extra money to pay the bills. Since I am "sort of" young now, only 25 now, I feel like I need to start now.

Welcome.
Only thing I'd personally suggest here is, if you're set on Air Force and FBI, just focus on that right now "whilst" (that was for you Brandon) penny pinching and completely avoiding living lavishly. Just tuck it all away (obviously military is great for this because of the no housing expense thing) and whenever you reach a comfortable position to put a healthy down payment on something, pull the trigger, assuming you still want to be in real estate. Getting into and being in the FBI will eat up a lot of your time.
However you end up doing it, good luck with it!
