City of Greeley sentiment

Greeley seems to have quite a bit going for it. New businesses moving in, UNC expansion and such. Recently I was reading about the city doing something with parks/open space over the the 34 bypass. What specifics are you guys seeing that makes Greeley more attractive? It seems the city is trying to change it's image. What do you guys think?

Greeley has a lot of money. A lot of oil and gas, plus agg and ranching. They have completely redone most of the main roads adding medians and one family has bought up 16 properties around downtown and the college. They are tearing them down and spending over 50 million on new apartments, retail, and cool stuff.
