New Home Construction in Fremont, CA

A Solanki
Posted

Hi Everyone!!

I am new to this forum/website. We (my friend and myself) are planning to get 2 houses built next to each other, for personal use and not to sell. After a long wait, the plan is finally approved and we will be moving to the building-permit phase.

This is our first attempt in house construction and it would be great to get some guidance or to hear views from veterans on:

1. How to go for construction loan and is it better to shoot for construction loan that gets converted to mortgage after the house is ready.

2. How to find good GC who have built houses in Fremont, CA and what is construction cost in this area right now.

thank you!!!
