Bay Area ADU Kit Suppliers or Builders

Heather Murray
Posted

Hi, I'm Looking for recommendations of companies that provide and install turnkey ADU kits. I would like to install an ADU with a kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom on a property in Moraga, California. Looking for something that can be installed quickly and will be easy to work with the city on. Will need to create a level foundation or deck (as the backyard is on a slope) and create hook ups to the main utility lines, so if the company can organize that it would be a major plus or if you have any resources to share about that I would really appreciate it. If the company includes all fixtures and appliances in the ADU it would be a major bonus. Looking for something that is as simple as possible and still looks good. So far I have liked https://abodu.com/ but they pre-build and drop the building in with a crane and we have power lines out front that make that option impossible. Thank you for any help or advice you have!

@Heather Murray We are just starting an ADU build as well in the East Bay, took a look at different pre-built ADU's but decided to build from scratch and manage the project.

Interested to see how your experience is with pre-built once it is finished!
