General Contractor or Architect Needed in Bay Area

My fiancee and I am finally ready to move forward with the buying process. We have done our homework and looking to build up the rest of our team. We are in need of a good general contractor to provide guidance and work in the Bay Area. Specifically, Richmond, Alameda, Oakland. Can anybody provide some good recommendations or referrals?
