What do you think of this STR promotion?

There is a work crew in town installing an underground fiber optic network.  It's going to take them 6 months, they've been here a week in a motel.  That network is going right by one of my houses.  The utility companies marked their underground lines.  So I set up a sign next to my house facing their work.  The sign says:

FURNISHED HOUSES
WEEKLY RATES
CABLE WIFI W&D
ALL BILL PAID
MY PHONE NUMBER

What do you think?

Why not take note of when they’re finishing up for the day and go talk to them in person as well?

    If the company is Kenny, I can tell you they pay a handsome per diem.  We rented a such a person for about 18 months and he never batted an eye at the $1600 rent as a single renter.  Smart move on your part

    On their first day of work I gave the foreman my calendar of scantily clad women, 6 flyers and 6 pens.  All with my phone number.  He called me that night, and his major concern was where to park all their trucks with equipment trailers.  These are 20 foot trailers with a $250,000 piece of equipment on them.  We were going to meet up the next day, but he never called me back.  I drive by their motel each evening and there is no way their trucks/trailers will fit in a residential neighborhood.  But I have a solution.

     I've got about 6 units at an apartment complex that are all going to be vacated on the same day in a week.  That will leave me with 8 available and a parking lot and driveway about the size of 3 tennis courts lined up end to end the long way.  The fiber optic people can park their work trucks and trailers in the parking lot.  The fiber optic people think they'll be here 6 months.  In 7 months, the people that are vacating in a week will be back.
