Hi all. So I’ve got an Airbnb in Hyoe Park area and trash pick up is every Monday. I live in Denver and cannot figure out how to deal with the trash situation. The maid services won’t take it with them so it’s currently being put in a large bin behind the unit. Any ideas or suggestions? I’ve already asked the neighbors if I could pay them and none are interested) Thanks!
@Account Closed yes that’s correct. City allows for 2 bags each Monday. Anything more would need an extra bag tag purchasable at the Ace Hardware down the street.
@Seth Rouch. Fire your cleaning crew and hire one that is willing to take the trash to the dump. You’re 3 states away the last thing you need is trash piling up that makes the neighbors and the city unhappy. You’ll get shut down. Fire and hire someone today and make your business grow!
We had the same situation with our STR house in Rustburg, VA. Our happy solution was to "hire" the three little boys who were our neighbors to be our "trash service". We pay them each $2 each week to take our trash can to the curb and bring it back each week. Their parents were happy to "help" the boys learn the value of being dependable workers and doing a job well, as well as learning how to earn a dollar and save towards a goal. In your situation the parents might be willing to purchase some extra bag tags if needed and you can reimburse them.
