Ok for the last 2 days, I've been at the Beach!  Orange Beach/Gulf Shores AL.  It's 4.5 hrs from Home, but it's BEAUTIFUL!!! A great networking event with agents in our Orange Beach Office.  A little work, a little Play..So what's next?  Do I buy an investment to rent during high season from May-mid Sept?  I would allow family and friends to use during off seasons.  Any input from those in Vacation areas with nice Beaches and fishing?  Price point not bad..

@Rolanda Eldridge it sounds like you already know what you would like to do and maybe are asking for some assistance with pushing you forward? Your a realtor it looks like so I'm guessing you know what to look for and how to run the numbers accordingly.  If you haven't owned a VR before though, I will just say the same thing I tell everyone else...don't expect it to cash flow well if at all and make sure you assign value to the other'perks' of owning it like sharing it with your friends and family and ability to use in the off season.  In the end, you will still get some tax breaks and free principal pay down so as long as that's all worth it, I will always say Yay (if the numbers work)!  :)  Good luck to you!
