Renting out Primary Home for Superbowl - Phoenix, AZ

I am considering renting out my primary residence (3bd/2ba)  for the Superbowl - we are about 20 minutes from the stadium, and about 25 minutes from other events happening around the same time in Phoenix, AZ such as the Waste Management Open and Barrett Jackson. My family would move in with my in laws for about a month if we wanted to try this out. My question is - are people that are doing this packing up their entire houses and leaving only the bare items appropriate for an Airbnb? I would build into analysis the cost of having someone else pack the house up, if so.  Additionally - what other logistical items are people addressing outside of insurance, registering property, etc. Would love to hear what people are doing!

Hi @Michael Baum Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking about potentially posting it on some sites and finding out if there's interest before finalizing and taking the steps to register for any permits (if necessary). My husband is my insurance agent, so I know he will get us set up appropriately. We are hoping to house hack another property in Q1, so the personal items being packed up could be in alignment with the direction we are headed anyway.  Love those links - very informative!
