Does getting a time share for air bnb make sense

I'm wondering if it make sense to buy into a time share to start air bnb? I'm thinking that Vegas makes sense as far as demand and a time share saves me maintenance fees and me having to physically be there.

Timeshares are the thing someone else paid $10,000 for that you buy off eBay for $1 and they still charge more in maintenance than you can rent it for.
