This month,  we will be holding our third virtual meetup on May 26, 2020. The meetup will feature a panel discussion with three experienced investors who will provide their insight into how they plan to survive and thrive through this upcoming pandemic!

The format of this meeting will allow for some open networking from 6:30 until 7:00 p.m. at which time we will have a our panel presentation from 7:00 p.m. till 7:45 p.m. To close the session out, we will have a question and answer time where you can ask the panelists for their thoughts.

Below you will find short biographies for each of our panelist guests.

Anthony Giannini
Athonay is president of Agent Equity Partners which is a multi faceted real estate company. Anthony has extensive knowledge of apartment building acquisition, management and disposition. Anthony has acquired over 50 apartment buildings in his 25 year career, mostly from distressed sellers. Anthony has a keen sense of the market, having sold a number of buildings in 2019. Anthony is also an experienced note buyer, having purchased a number of distressed notes from local lenders. Anthony enjoys traveling with his wife and family when away from work.

John Casmon
John Casmon is a general partner in $90 million worth of apartments across Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. He is the Founder of Casmon Capital Group, specializing in value-add multifamily investments for passive investors.

John hosts the Target Market Insights: Multifamily + Marketing podcast, and is the co-creator of the Midwest Real Estate Networking Summit, a no-pitch event to connect like-minded investors. Prior to becoming a full-time investor, John oversaw marketing campaigns for General Motors, Nike and Coors Light, while building his personal multifamily portfolio.

Andrew Wicklow
Andrew Wicklow is the President and Principle of Trinity Property & Casualty Insurance, an independent insurance agency located in Oak Brook, Illinois. For the past 20 years, Andrew has been involved in one way or another with investment properties. Starting off with renovating a 24 unit vacant building in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago to eventually forming investment syndicates to purchase apartment communities throughout the Midwest, Andrew has accomplished a lot in that period of time. Eventually his investment portfolio would reach 2,500 apartment units across 4 states in 12 different properties, a full service hotel in Wisconsin and various other smaller investments.

Today, Andrew is still actively involved in investment properties and looks to be more of a resource for his clients than simply an insurance agent and often recommends lenders, contractors, attorney’s accountants and various strategies to his existing clients as well as others he comes in contact with. Andrew currently owns several properties in Chicago and redevelops single family residences in Chicago’s suburbs. Andrew is currently serving his 10th term as Treasurer for the South Side Community Investment Association, a local landlord group in Chicago.
