Hello thy fellow investors,

Our speaker this month will be Rich Marino. He will be presenting information on how to analyze new construction opportunities. When you take on a new construction project you need to be extra cautious and try to consider all your costs and potential issues that you could run into while conducting your due diligence. You must consider things like utility access, architect fees, engineer fees, permit and review fees, building costs, etc. It can be quite overwhelming when you haven't done a project like this before, but if you have ballpark numbers to work with then you can at least evaluate if you have a potential deal or not before you dig in and spend more time getting detailed estimates and costs.

Rich has personally done multiple rehab and new build projects himself. He has worked for a hard money lender in town and currently works for Cambridge Custom Homes, a local Austin builder with over 40 years experience. Rich has a lot of knowledge when it comes to all different types of real estate investing and will be a great resource for many of us. He will also give us a quick summary of some of his past experiences and what to watch out for as a newer real estate investor. You don't wanna miss this!

Before and after the presentation there is always time for open networking! Food and drinks are available and Umi Sushi has some really great food! Come hungry!
