As a therapist, a real estate investor, and a student of finances for the past 15 years, I have seen many couples fight over finances and many investors boom and bust because of a poor financial foundation. Sometimes newer investors come to my meetups and say, “I don’t have any money but I would like to get into real estate investing.” The truth is, if you are an adult and you don’t have any money then you have a money management problem and you should solve that problem first - before venturing out into the world of investing. Simply put, if you do not have a solid financial foundation and you start to make money in real estate, you will almost certainly lose it. You may shoot up financially like a bottle rocket for a time, but then just come crashing down because of the lack of financial literacy and the mismanagement of the business funds.
As a therapist, I understand how money, or trauma around money, can create a lot of tension in a marriage. This class can help marriages by getting the couple on the same page financially and by helping them work towards shared goals.

This class goes beyond what Dave Ramsey talks about with getting out of debt and it provides a more solid structure and outline than what Robert Kiyosake teaches in his books. Compared to every book I have read on the subject and every financial program I’ve seen, this program is by far the best and most complete financial program out there.
