This meetup is a networking event for anyone living in (or visiting!) Toronto who invests in real estate anywhere in the US. This is a regular event, usually once per month on the 2nd Monday. No pitching or selling, just a venue to share experiences and resources for those of us actively investing in the US. Anyone interested in learning more about investing in US real estate is also welcome, of course.
We had 25 people attend last month and the consensus was to maintain the loose agenda, and each month choose a different topic to focus on and have a different investor present a deal they've done or are working on. This month's agenda:
6:00 - 7:15 Welcome Mingle and general discussion
7:15 - 7:30 Quick Introductions
7:30 - 7:45 Managing rehabs (lessons learned)
7:45 - 8:00 The Real Deal (This month: a short term rental example)
8:00 - 9:00+ Mingle / Discussion
Future meetups are generally 2nd Monday of each month. They're planned as follows:
