    I am interested in learning how to invest in real estate using other's money.  Is this a good place to start?  I am an educator and curriculum developer and am seeking to enter into a new career: real estate.

    @Karen Lynne Taylor I'm not sure if you are asking about the meetup, but we likely wouldn't be going into a detailed discussion on using OPM. I've heard a lot of great things about Brandon Turner's book "The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down". That might be a good place to start learning more.

    Thanks Josiah.  I will include that in my reading.  I am currently reading The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing.  Will finish this today.  What exactly does your meetup group work together to achieve?

    Thanks for your response Josiah.  Yes, I would love to attend.  I am in Milwaukee currently indefinitely, but I live in Maricopa, AZ.  I have no idea why that city comes up.  I have tried to change it, but to no avail.

    @Sergio Perez At this point, we are just a group of real estate investors coming together to discuss our experiences, knowledge, and questions. We don't have a specific agenda to cover in the meeting, but feel free to come and share your knowledge/questions. I can tell you that I have walked away from each meet up with something new (whether it be knowledge, a tactic, or a contact).
