The Whidbey Island Real Estate Investors group will be kicking off the new year with a Zoom meeting that features actionable Whidbey-specific market updates plus real world stories by a local self storage and commercial properties investor.

Local broker Tom Trimbath has completed his detailed quarterly analysis of the Whidbey Island market and will provide us with his findings. Jahleel Vester will provide info on financing options for 1-4 unit residential investors. Jason Joiner will share his observations on current financing for larger multi-family and commercial deals.

Charlie Walsh will provide the main presentation about his investing journey. He spent the last 12+ years working in tech startups before returning to his roots in commercial real estate investment and development. He focused on self storage and acquired his first facility in Coupeville last year. Charlie is now working on ground up development of a new self storage facility in Oak Harbor and actively seeking additional acquisition opportunities both on and off the island. A Seattle area native, Charlie moved to Langley with his wife and four young children mid-2019 after spending two years living in South America.
