Screening Tenants
Hi all, I'm helping my parents with their rental properties and I have a question about screening tenants. Which questions do you ask over the phone so you can weed out people before you waste your time showing them an apartment in which they would not qualify?

@James Erickson - some that disqualify people right off the bat:
If your income requirement was 3x the rent and they didn't meet that.
If they have pets, and your place doesn't allow pets.
If they smoke and you don't allow smokers.
