Hi, I couldn't find another post that was state specific. I am wanting to know more about what people in my area are experiencing and how they are proceeding. 

I am a newbie, East Tennessee area. I own an 8 unit complex and am dealing with my first tenant that is not paying. I know there is little I can do but I want to make sure I am taking the right steps within my state and also trying to not use my attorney until that's necessary.

I appreciate any and all insights.
