Apartment Complex lead based paint

Hello, I have my first two apartment complexes under contract in Maryland- a 7 unit and then a 10 unit. They are older structures and aren't your typical apartment building, more like a giant house that has been built onto again and again. Structurally sound but there are concerns of lead based paint in the property.

It seems like Maryland takes lead based paint very seriously as they should, we're working in Anne Arundel County near Annapolis and the other is on the eastern shore of Maryland northward closer to Baltimore. I'm not sure if there is much variance in county laws or codes as it is just a statewide compliance.

My question is, some of my team members are certified and some are not. We'd like to get both complexes a lead free certificate. Is it required that only accredited contractors work on the structure to get a lead free certificate?
