Less than two years credit history first home buyer

Matan Mishli
Posted

Hello everyone,

My name is Matan, I moved to Las Vegas a year ago from Israel and started working about 7 months ago.

My wife is American with credit history of more than 15 years but she is a partial time worker.

My credit score is around 750 and I would be the main borrower, We are trying to buy our first house and talked to few lenders and right now the answer was we can't get a mortgage with my less than two years of credit history.

From your experience this is a general rule Or it varies between the different banks? Will FHA loan will be more possible to get with thesw conditions or either loans are impossible right now?

Any advice will help, or even a referral. It looks like the actual lenders I've been talking to at first saying that it will be no problem to get the loan considering my status, then after the application process is done, they are coming back with a negative answer from the under writer of the bank.

Thank you,

Matan Mishli
