What are your “best practices” for pre-purchase due diligence for a rental property (single family/duplex/triplex/etc.)?

I.E inspections, repairs, market, financial. What steps are you absolutely performing every time before a purchase and which are you more relaxed with?

I have several templates built but don’t want to get caught in paralysis through analysis.

Cheers.
