States are proposing laws that waive rental payments for several months with minimal or no reimbursement. NY States proposal offers no reimbursement to the property owner if they do not have a mortgage.
This link is to a pre-filled form on the National Apartment Association website to contact representatives to explain that landlords will need relief from other payments such as property taxes, insurance, etc. if they are not receiving rental payments.
It's quick to fill out, and you can do your part to help.
The elected officals that are proposing this should forgo their wages for the next year or quit. People are idols for voting these morons into office. Hopefully someone with a 3rd grade education will fix the problem.
