HUD/Section 8 Rents? Where To Find?

Can't find the link to the rents section 8 pays in certain metro areas. Can someone provide the link? Thanks in advance!

Contact your local "Housing Authority "and they will mail you a complete package with all the info including their current rental market rates and application.

In my area, there are several different Section 8 offices. I currently deal with four different offices and have dealt with about five more in the past. They are all different. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

One office will go up to a certain amount on a three bedroom house and others will go higher. Some offices in my area now are requiring two people per bedroom, regardless of age or sex. Other offices are still giving a three bedroom voucher to a mother with a son and daughter. It's hard to figure out.

In my area it  varies, depending on the tenant.  If they work and the voucher doesn't cover the entire rent it's a % based on there income with utilities factored in.... Also the area...There is a formula but they pay market rents

EX.....
3br 2 bath...1 tenant $702 doesn't work(sect 8 pays all)....2 tenant %750 works..(pays 495)

Bill Robinson: In our area the FMR has to cover the rent and the basic utilities, (not phone, cable, etc. & we don't have AC) whether paid by the landlord or tenant.

Hi David - I'm assuming these rents include the landlord paying the utilities? It doesn't say on the site.
