Bumping Zillow listing back to the top?

What do you need to do to your Zillow posting so it gets bumped back up to the top?

With Zillow, my experience has been that you get the most views and inquiries when the listing is new and at the top. But, after the listing drops to the 2nd page, then the responses dramatically falls off a cliff.

In the past, I tried playing around with the listing to try to bump it back up to the top but I was unsuccessful.

But, I see that the big apartment complexes are bumping up the same listings.  I've been keeping track of their listings, and know its the same one listings that are getting bumped. And, there's a banner that tells you the listing  was 'updated today'.

Yeah, I tried rewriting Zillow listings in the past but they didn't get bumped back up back then. But, if I recall correctly, the big apartment complexes were able to bump up their listings back then even though everyone else couldn't. I haven't posted my new one listing yet because it would get posted days before the best times to post on Zillow and would then already be on the 2nd page by then.

But, if I know how to update the Zillow listings to bump them up, then I can post my Zillow listings as soon as possible and bump them up later on. Right now, since I don't know how to do that, I'll just have to wait to post on Zillow.

I have noticed other rental listings (SFHs, not big complexes) on Zillow being bumped to the top after a few weeks. Their "days on zillow" resets, but their views and contacts do not reset. Some of the same owners/managers are bumping listings, so clearly there is a secret

All my rentals are in the same area and are the same size, so I have worked my listings getting stale by only advertising one rental at a time and using those leads for all my vacancies. That has worked pretty well so far, but sure am curious how these other landlords are doing it!
