Docusign or something else?
I'm in the early process of reading Brandon and Heather's book on Managing Rental Properties. Chapter 2.
A question I have is this: I want to have leases signed electronically, like using Docusign for example. Are there any alternatives out there that are comparable?
Maybe the book will answer the question. I appreciate the replies!

Docusign is the gold standard. In my opinion its also the easiest to use and cheapest for what you get. There are a bunch of other e-signature solutions (such as dotloop), but likely for your needs docusign is the best.
That being said, I still like to meet with a tenant for the lease signing in-person. First, because I need to make sure they have the 1st month's rent and deposit in hand. Second, I like to review certain terms with them across the 26+ pages of lease and required disclosures. I make it clear that I don't want to hear about any "misunderstandings" later on because I personally went over everything with them and addressed any questions at the time.
