Renting out my house for commercial use
Hello~ I'm getting ready to move out of state and currently live in a house that is zoned both residential and C-2 (community shopping district). The house is original to the town, picturesque, and sits on a corner and next to a dentist office without a garage and across the street from train station. My question is should I rent it to a prospective commercial business tenant or keep it residential? Commercial leases seem a little more complex though looks like I could get higher rent. Anyone have experience with primary home commercial leases?
