This is important!! New York State assembly is attempting to further restrict the rights of landlords in the state. This legislation, if passed, would become one of the most extreme rent control and regulation bill in the COUNTRY.

Now, tenant's absolutely should have protections and slumlords should absolutelty be held accountable for thier actions. However this bill attempts to strip even the highest caliber landlord of their right to decide how to run their own business! This is legislation designed for New York city but once again places like Syracuse will feel the brunt of the effect.

Here is a direct link to the bill.

Legislative session ends on June 19th, time is of the essence to reach out to your legislator and make it known that all landlords should not suffer becuase there are a handful of bad actors!
