Renting My House in SF
Hi -- new to the forum!
Question: I recently quit my job and am thinking to take some time off, a year or so, to recharge and travel. My property sitting vacant in SF doesn't really make a lot of sense.
I currently own a house in San Francisco which is my primary residence. I realize that laws are written in SF in favor of tenants. So, my question is this: Is it possible to write a lease in SF that doesn't automatically go month to month or renew after the initial term is up? I really don't want to go through the time or expense of owner move-in eviction if a tenant decides not to move out after a year (or whatever the lease term is).
