Can you change the rental price after it’s been posted?

I just put a completely renovated 3bd 2 bath home in California up for rent online yesterday and got an overwhelming response of inquiries. Now I want to increase the rental price. Can I simply delete the post and put up a new one? Also, can I tell the first group of inquirers that we have increased the price? Most importantly I am wondering if it is legal for me to do that. Thanks in advance for your help!
