new vs used washer and dryer cleveland

HI all,

I recently bought a property that I would like to hold for at least 10+ years if possible. We are out of state. was wondering if it was a bad idea to buy a new washer and dryer. We wanted to avoid unnecessary issues with used appliances. Any input on used appliances vendors in Cleveland?

Hello Alana, Some properties I have a washer and dryer and some I don’t. It all depends on what the norm in your market is. For those properties I have them in, I buy new with a 5 year protection plan. If something goes wrong I give the tenant the protection plan i.d. and let the coordinate the repair.

Having them or not for me is based on the expectation of the market where your rental is located. If not needed, I don’t provide them.
