Middletown Ohio Investment: Section 8 Rental Property

Hi, my wife and I are looking at a promising rental property investment in a low-income area in Middletown Ohio. Neighborhood scout report on the area where the property is not promising. However, Craigslist research shows a lot of landlords in the area are taking Section 8. My wife and I have read some pros and cons about section 8. Anyone have good success with section 8 rental property investments?
