Renting out individual rooms vs renting out 3 bedroom

Looking to purchase a multi unit property however cash flow will be tight. I was thinking instead of renting out one of the 3 bedroom apartments for 1100.00 to rent each room out individually for 600.00 each. So i will have 3 renters in 1 apartment sharing 1 bath and 1 kitchen....your thoughts? Is this something to consider or am i just asking for problems?

Hi Katie,

I don't know if you've thought of this but,

in many areas rooming house situations tend to attract a totally different (less financially stable) tenant base.

Just my thoughts on this.

Good Luck!
