Cash for Keys California
Hello Biggerpockets
We have a situation where we are going through an eviction. We have served the 3 day notice and now the 30 day notice. We are thinking that cash for keys would be a better option for both us and the tenant.
The property is in California, but I was wondering if there are any laws in California that require a minimum day notice for the tenant to move out before we have the tenant sign any paperwork.
Any tips for successfully completing a cash for keys in California would be greatly appreciated!

LOL! I've heard it a thousand times before:
I've read articles from eviction attorneys in California and they claim they can evict in an average of 45 days. I think it takes much longer than that because there are too many amateur Landlords trying to do it on their own and doing it incorrectly.
Hire an attorney that specializes in evictions. Hold the tenant accountable instead of rewarding them for bad behavior and pushing your problem onto another Landlord.
