Tenant credit and background checks

Anyone using FinRET for background, credit and criminal checks?  $5.  Looks like quite a deal.  Wondering how they compare to the other services that are charging $20 to $40.

We require prospective tenants to pay for their own background and credit checks through the platform that we use. That's the standard in our area, and it's about $40. In order to be fair about it, we always let applicants know what our rental criteria are, so that they have a good idea going in if they will be approved or not. By the way, if you don't have non-fair housing rental criteria determined and published somewhere, you most definitely should as a part of your process.

Good luck!
